Brighter Days Ahead: Empowering Your Wellbeing & Mental Health
Compassionate support for mental health and personal growth.
Compassionate support for mental health and personal growth.

I’m Assunta Mariosa, but everyone calls me Tina. I’m a qualified Integrative, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic therapist based in London and a registered member of the BACP, committed to upholding their ethical standards to provide a safe, supportive, and professional space for my clients.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years in Financial Services, giving me firsthand insight into the pressures of high-stakes environments and life’s unexpected challenges. This experience deepened my understanding of real-life struggles and the resilience it takes to navigate them.
I believe that with the right support, we all have the capacity to overcome difficulties and build a healthier, more fulfilling life. Trust is at the core of my approach—it’s the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered.
I embrace diversity in all its forms. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate various emotional and psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, abuse, addictions, eating disorders, trauma and working with children & young people.

I draw on psychiatry, psychopathology, and psychodynamics to understand mental health from multiple angles. This helps me assess symptoms, explore underlying causes, and address unconscious patterns for more effective treatment.
I use CBT to help clients understand and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. It’s a practical, evidence-based approach that supports lasting emotional and behavioural change.
I support individuals with eating disorders through a compassionate, evidence-based approach. Together, we explore underlying issues and work toward a healthier relationship with food, body image, and self.
I work with children and young people to support their emotional well-being in a safe and understanding environment. My goal is to help them build coping skills and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges
I work with couples to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their connection. Together, we explore patterns and build skills to create a healthier, more supportive relationship.
A non-directive approach that creates a supportive and empathetic environment, allowing clients to explore their feelings and achieve self-acceptance.
I provide trauma-informed care that creates a safe space for healing. Together, we work to understand and process past experiences, helping you build resilience and regain a sense of control.
Focuses on the present moment and encourages clients to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and actions in the here-and-now, fostering personal growth and self-awareness.
Examines communication patterns and interpersonal relationships by exploring the roles individuals adopt, such as Parent, Adult, or Child, in their interactions.
